May 2020

May was a busy month with birthday's, Mother's Day, the end of homeschooling (ha, ha...I have preschoolers so that lasted only a few days).  Here are pictures of our adventures.

For my birthday Alexis decided we needed a pinata.  A friend suggested coloring a brown bag and putting it over a cereal box.  Alexis is coloring the pinata.
 Cole is enjoying his milk
 Playing with water beads
Alexis is getting so creative with her drawing

My friend Sarah stopped by on my birthday. So thoughtful
I took the kids down to the beach for my birthday.
My happy place...beach, wine and a book

 Morning snuggles are the best

 The face of quarantine
 Exploring on the beach

 Cole got a little cold
 Allen's birthday dessert

 It was yummy

Allen is great about showing the kids all of the sea life on our beach.  It has been fun watching You Tube videos to learn more.  We have clams, star fish, crabs, sand dollars....

The kids washed my car for Mother's Day

Allen started a consulting position with PSE (the electricity company in Washington). We had to drive to Seattle to pick up his laptop.  Here were are masked up waiting for the computer. This is the first time the kids had been out since March
Riding big wheels in the backyard
We are so fortunate to see deer in our backyard very often.
 Working on puzzles
The kids like to play switch clothes.  This is Cole in Alexis's clothing
Alexis wearing Cole's clothes.  His pants are so short on her they look like capri pants
Yay!  Celebrating seeing Aunt Danielle and Nana

We put up our smaller tent in the play room.
Switching day:)  Look at Alexis such a model
 Hanging out on the beach
There are geoduck clams on our beach. They squirt water on you.  The kids love it.
Still a little boy...fell asleep on mommy
