July 2018

July was such a busy and fun month.  We celebrated 4th of July, had several visitors,  Cole turned 2 and we had a few play dates.  Here are pictures from our adventures.

Our friend Wade came for a visit.  He is always so much fun.  He loves new adventures and exploring.

 Cole turned 2 so he is able to face forward in the car now.  I got a little sad but then happy because he hated being in his car seat until we turned it around.

 Aunt Danielle came to visit for a week

 Alexis was a trouper...took 5 hours round trip to pick up Danielle from the airport.  We had to drive, take a ferry, drive again then turn around and do it all over again:)  Enjoying popcorn on the ferry home.

 Allen tried clamming at a new beach.  We went with him.  An elderly lady was leaving the trail with a small dog and a walking stick. We asked how far it was to the water. She said a mile. So we though..sure Danielle and I can manage two small kids on an easy hike and meet up with Allen.  It was not an easy hike...it was very steep and not meant at all for small kids. But when we made it to the water it was breathtaking. We got our workout on the way back up..all up hill carrying two kids.

 Cole turned 2 on July 14th.  He is such a happy little boy.  Here he is helping make his cupcakes

 We went to a park/splash pad with our workout group.  We had to take a ferry to the location. So much fun to walk on with a stroller and just walk to the park. Cole having fun with the water.

 Cole LOVES to vacuum.  He was crying at 7am because I wouldn't let him use the vacuum. So here we are vacuuming the living room. At least the house is clean.

 Allen and I started hiking at a new location each week. This is our first afternoon hike. So much fun and so beautiful.
