Find Joy in the Ordinary: Cole 5 months, Alexis 24 months

Cole turned five months on 12/14/16. He weighs 15lbs 11oz and is 26 1/2 inches long. He is such a happy baby. He is always smiling and laughing. Even when he is sick he has a smile on his face. I with I could be more like him. I hope this part of him never changes. He is rolling over all the time. He sits up with assistance. He started eating solid foods...rice cereal and bananas. He is starting to get on a nap schedule....around 9am and 2pm for about 1 hour each. He is usually asleep by 7pm. He is not sleeping through the night but he has also had a cold for 3 weeks. He really wants to play with his sister.

Alexis turned 2 on 11/25/16. She is so talkative. She is talking in three to four word sentences. Everyday she amazes us with all of the new words she knows. She can say the alphabet by herself and identify all of the letters. She can count to ten. She knows colors and shapes. She loves to sing and dance. She is still taking an afternoon nap and sleeps great at night. It is almost time to set-up her toddler bed. She can climb out of her crib so we turned it around so the high part of the crib is in the front. Of course she figured out how to climb out the side:)

Alexis's table...yes she colored it. Covered in books, puzzle pieces and the bowl from her toilet. Totally normal:) She is not potty training yet. I got the toilet so she would get used to the idea of it. Just thought I should mention this since my last post had her riding it backwards in the kitchen.
