Brazos Bend State Park

We found this great park that is only thirty minutes from us. We spent all day on Friday enjoying the beautiful weather. 

When we got to the park we toured the nature center. We were able to pet a baby alligator. After the tour we had a picnic lunch by Elm Lake.

We saw a lot of these signs

And a lot of these alligators. They were just sitting in the sun on the side of the path. Crazy. 

Close up shot. I thought it would be scary to see an alligator but really it wasn't so bad. 

Love these trees. 

It was such a relaxing day. Looking forward to doing it again.
