I learned on the drive home from the hospital not to say "I'll never..." My sister suggested Alexis could sleep in our bed with us. I was nervous about getting up in the middle of the night to feed her after having a c-section. I told her there was no way she would ever sleep in our bed. Of course she slept in our bed that night.
I told my Mom I don't want to put Alexis in front of the TV. I want to limit her TV exposure. Of course we have learned at 3 months it works great to put her in her swing and I get 15-20 minutes to get something done. Today she fell asleep in her swing😘
Awesome! I love how flexible you are to change!! I can't imagine how many things I *think* I'd never do if I had a baby, and probably would. Even with a dog, I *never* wanted an indoor dog, yuck! Now THEY are allowed on the bed. LOL. Good times and happy to hear you're rolling with it all so well.
ReplyDelete"The perfect parent is the one who has no kids." This is what Luke has said a few times over the years and we have had this same conversation about what we said we were going to....and didn't. That's why parenting is an adventure. No days are the same. :)
