 We had a fun filled and magical May....

We went to Hawaii for a week.  We stayed in this hotel in Seattle on the first night.  Alexis was anxious about flying so we didn't tell her what we were doing until we got to the hotel.  

We gave them craft things and a journal to keep track of our adventures

I was able to attend a field trip with Alexis's class to visit a museum on Bainbridge and then a park

One of the artists was at the museum so Alexis and her friend Jada asked for his signature

Dress up like your favorite character in a book.  Alexis was dressed as Riana from "Guts" and Cole is Magnus Chase from "Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asguard"  

Cole's class had to pick an historical figure to write a report about.  He chose Billy Jean King.  They had the option of dressing up when they did their presentation.  When I asked, "Why Billy Jean King"  Well,  obviously Alexis loves Michael Jackson and he has a song "Billie Jean"  :)

A friend and I took the boys to see a Dino Lights show.  It was dark and the animals were lights.  It was really good.  Having a bit of fun after while we let the parking lot empty.
