Took the kids to Irvine Regional Park to meet up with Alice
Alice and I have been friends for over 20 years.  It was so great to meet up with her.  Alexis let us know we broke a few rules at the park.  (Drinking wine:)

We took a train ride around the park

I don't know who was more excited to ride this bike, Alice or the kids:)

We had an amazing visit with Maryann and Jack. The kids loved the pool...a bit to cold for us:)  We enjoyed great conversation, pizza, wine and a movie.  Breakfast was so good.  Hope to be back soon.

Kelly and Mike

Leaving Grandpa's and heading home.  I was so nice to see my Dad and Debbie. Thank you to Tony and Mike & Kelly for driving up to see us. We enjoyed parks, flying kites, yummy BBQ, watching cartoons with Grandpa.

Our drive home was eventful:(  We planned to stop at the Grand Canyon on our way out of AZ.  We ran into a terrible dust storm.  Our passenger window broke.  We are not sure if it was a rock or the window was shaking so much the latch broke the window.  So we skipped the Grand Canyon.  But the drive was still beautiful.
Our temporary fix...a mat over the window

We ran into some snow
Allen is AMAZING...he made a window out of plexi glass in the Home Depot parking lot at 8pm at night.
Can't tell it is broken

The kids put themselves to sleep

Our plan was to drive about 40 minutes north of Home Depot to camp.  But we are new to camping and realized we should check the weather. We had to drive until past midnight to make it it past all areas it might possibility snow. We finally pulled into a Walmart early in the morning.  Slept there, purchased a vacuum to vacuum up the glass.
At least it was pretty
Enjoying an ice pop

Craft time

Our next RV park had a small playground

Traveling to the next stop
Our last RV park was really nice.  Had a playground
Enjoying a snack
Sleeping
We made it home!  Washing the RV
It was such a great trip.  Only our second in the RV...yes we are a bit crazy.  Helped us learn about the RV, camping and what we need/don't need.  It was so great to see so many friends and family. We appreciate the effort and hospitality everyone made to see us.  We were not able to see everyone so hope to see you next time.
I am a consignor for other mom's to sell at our JBF sale.  I had to get all of this ready to sell two days after we got back.

It was a sad moment but we gave our little blue car we have had since Alexis was 2 to our neighbor's grandson. We get to visit it every few days but I did shed some tears
Took the kids to a park near us

April was such a great month.  It was so fun to go away for two weeks and see so many people.  It is great to let the kids play at the park again.  I feel like we are returning to normal.
