August 2020

 To be honest August went by so fast I didn't remember all the things we did until I looked at our pictures.  Here is the month of August...

Napping on the couch is the best

Alexis is very creative.  She received a book from our neighbor on how to make crafts from tissue paper. This is a lei she made.  

We put new rock in our fire pit.  Here were are at the rock yard getting one of three loads.

Alexis playing on the computer.  We are painting our house this year and found a computer program that you can paint the house and see what it would look like with the new color.  Alexis started uploading pictures of people and coloring them.

Alexis and Cole were playing doctor.  Alexis wrapped him up and played music for him to calm him down.

I love pictures of blackberries on the vine.

We went to Westport beach with Danielle.  It is about a two hour drive to the west coast of Washington.  It is a beautiful sandy beach with a ton of surfers.  We all loved it.  Only issue is the four hours of driving. The only picture I have of Danielle is her in the distance with Penelope:)

We had the bushes between our house and our neighbors house removed.  This cool machine spent 6+ hours removing a ton of blackberry bushes.  Cole loved it

So did all the male neighbors:)

Our first tomato. We cut it in four and shared it. Allen and I loved it. The kids not so much.

The kids have been doing chores to earn money. This is their first purchase.

Blueberry and raspberry picking

Cole likes to pour his own milk during the day. We purchase the gallon milk from Costco. It is usually to heavy and milk gets spilled on the floor. So my neighbor gave us this small container.  It has been working great.

Alexis watched a video on how to make a stuffie with socks.  This is one of many she has made.
