In May we went to California to celebrate Jessica's 40th birthday and Allen's 44th birthday. We also celebrated my Aunt Pat's 70th birthday and my cousin Melanie's birthday. We rented a house in San Clemente, CA for a week with 16 family members. Overall we had a great time. It was hard traveling with two kids (Cole 9 months, Alexis 2). We are so lucky to have such an amazing family. Everyone took turns cooking dinner and cleaning the kitchen. We are so thankful to everyone who helped us with Cole and Alexis...playing with them, feeding them, taking them for walks, understanding the time change when they were up at 3:30am:) It was so great seeing everyone and getting caught up. The house had so many great outdoor spaces to watch the ocean, drink a glass of wine and talk.
