Easter Weekend

Allen was off on Thursday and Friday before Easter. We started the weekend on Wednesday night by going out to dinner to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary.

On Thursday we took Alexis to a bounce house. She loves to jump so we thought she might like it. She spent most of the time running around and chasing a ball with other kids. She loves being around older kids and has no fear. Hope this lasts for awhile.

On Friday we went to my workout and participated in an egg hunt. She just liked running around and picking up the eggs. She likes to shake them and try to open them. It was such a beautiful day.

Trevor was in town for the weekend. Friday night until Sunday. On Saturday we went to a local church for another Easter egg hunt. A lot of our workout friends were there. Alexis had fun running around with them, petting the animals and being with family.

Saturday afternoon we had a barbecue. It was so lovely outside. 

Easter Sunday we opened our baskets and gifts from the Easter bunny.

20 Week Ultrasound

Here are a few pictures from Pumpkins 20 week ultrasound. He was flipping around so much, making it difficult for the doctor to get pictures. Thankfully the doctor had a lot of patience and was able to check everything out. He looks great. Currently he weighs a pound.

The Houston Rodeo

The Houston Rodeo is in town for a few weeks. They have an outdoor carnival, tons of cowboy/girl gear for sale, live animal actions, bull riding and concerts. It is a pretty big deal here. So we decided we should embracing living in Texas and check it out. My Mom, Allen, Alexis and I went last Friday morning for half a day.

Our favorite part was the petting zoo. Alexis was not afraid at all. She went right up to all the animals.

Another fun event was "Mutton Bustin'". 5-6 year olds ride a sheep. Holding on as long as possible. It was so cute.

Swim Lessons

Alexis has been taking swim lessons for a few months. Last weekend Allen had a chance to participate in her lesson. Here are some pictures of them having fun.
